Competition play is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Court 1 is the challenge court and Court 6 is reserved for Recreational play. Any overflow play should be played on the lower (tennis) courts.
Recreational play is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings. If competitive/tournament play occurs, that play should be played on the lower (tennis) courts.
When players are waiting to play and the courts are full.....
- Four players will play a game to eleven points and then vacate the court they just played on
- If four or more new players are waiting, all players will relinquish the court for four new players and continue the process.
- If there are only two players waiting, a 2-on/2-off scenario should be used.
- If there is only one player waiting, a 1-on/1-off scenario should be used.
- Players waiting, are suggested to place their paddles in groups of two/four, to determine who is next to play on the court.
- Stacking paddles indicate that those players are choosing to play together. As players exit the court they should insert paddles at the end of the line.
- All players waiting to play should be ready to enter the courts as a group.
Court 1 will be our challenge court...
- Four players will play a game to eleven points.
- A 2-on/2-off scenario will be used.
- Winners of the first game cycle out after winning second game.
Just a reminder:
- Monitor your paddle in the queue, be warmed up and ready to play when the time comes.
- Players may not place a second paddle in the queue while playing with another paddle.
- Put your name on your paddle so if you're distracted, your name can be called when it's your turn.
- If you are using the lower (tennis) courts, be sure to remove the temporary nets from the playing area and store along the fence before you leave.
- We encourage open play to include all skill levels and to help those that are new to the game.
